The three large moor landscapes in the canton enchant with their unique beauty and biodiversity. These wet and marshy areas are home to a variety of rare plant and animal species that have adapted to the special conditions. Mosses, heather, and sphagnum mosses adorn the rolling hills and create a colorful backdrop. During the dawn, the mist bathes the moors in mystical light and gives them a mysterious aura.
